Rick Moses

CEO & Owner of Medical Plaza Mobile Surveillance.

Rick Moses CEO & Owner of Medical Plaza Mobile Surveillance, Texas Industrial Medical and Medical Plaza .

Rick began working for Medical Plaza Mobile in December of 1994 and started the first satellite clinic for Medical Plaza in Corpus Christi, Texas at the Contractor Safety Council of the Coastal Bend.

After establishing a clinic there and adding to their mobile work, Rick was moved to Houston to oversee and run all operations of Medical Plaza and Bayport Occupational Medical Center in La Porte, Texas.

Both companies were owned by the McAmis family and Rick quickly moved up the ladder and help build their business.

MPMS had 1 truck and 4 units, and a small 850 square foot suite in La Porte.

Since that time Medical Plaza has added a total 8 large units and 14 trucks and 6 cars to the mobile fleet.

Also, has moved to a new location in La Porte, and opened Texas Industrial Medical in an 18000-square foot clinic, and added a third company Medical Plaza based in La Porte also, with satellite clinics in Corpus Christi, and Port Lavaca Texas.

Rick has gained years of knowledge by working in the industry, and by past and present work ethics helps build his business.


Dr. Schafer

Medical Physician.

Dr. Suzanne Schafer is a family practice/occupational medicine physician. She has been practicing for over 30 years. She received her undergraduate studies from North Texas State University in Denton, Texas, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Hermedical school training was completed at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Worth, Texas, where she graduated Cum Laude with a Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree. Her internship was completed at the Osteopathic Medical Center of Texas, also in Ft. Worth. She is board certified in family practice by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.

After her training, she practiced family medicine and urgent care medicine, but there was always a degree of occupational medicine in the mix. In the past several years, she has incorporated more occupational/industrial medicine into her practice and is essentially working exclusively in that area of medicine. She serves as Medical Director for Texas Industrial Medical Clinic in La Porte, Texas and also for the Medical Plaza Mobile Surveillance division of this clinic. In addition, she serves as Medical Director for some of our clients, including Flint Hills Resources (Port Arthur and Houston locations) and Odfjell in Seabrook, Texas.

She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, Texas Osteopathic Medical Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners. Her hospital affiliations are Mainland Medical Center in Texas City, Clearlake Regional Medical Center in Webster and Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital in Houston.

She isa certified DOT Medical Examiner with the National Registry, a certified Medical Review Officer and has certifications in BLS/ACLS. She also serves as the Local Medical Consultant for the Texas Workforce Solutions Rehabilitation Services Division (formally Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services) for Galveston, Harris and other surrounding counties.

She was voted Physician of the Year in 2016 by the Texas Rehabitation Association and in 2005 was voted Best Doctor in Galveston County by the Galveston Daily News Reader’s Choice.


Stuart Moses

Director of Operations Mobile Division. 

Stuart joined the Medical Plaza team in 2007 as a Medical Technician in the Corpus Christi office.

After six years of educating himself proficiently in the industry he was moved to the Houston office to become a supervisor for the mobile division.  Not long after his transfer he advanced to Director of Operations after showing himself to be an asset to the company in both knowledge and customer service. 

These are two key components that we pride ourselves in throughout the company.   


Elizabeth Taylor

Operations Manager

Over 12 Years in the Industrial field working with Human Resources and Safety. Leads and directs the day-to-day operations of the clinic.

Working cross-functionally throughout the organization promoting patient safety, clinical quality, patient experience, access to care, employee accountability and client concerns. 


Ana Mendez

Industrial Relations Sales Manager

Professional experience and formal education in medical office administration.

Serves as the Industrial Relations Sales Manager in Occupational Healthcare throughout Texas.  Over 20 years’ experience  in occupational health care, account management, record keeping and customer relations in order to sustain industrial business requirements.

Oversight of medical surveillance department at occupational clinics in the greater Houston area.  Business development and planning in order to establish effective business strategies to support occupational clinics for clients.  Provide business account setup and support for new and established accounts.
